Reagan and I went out for a last little girls afternoon before baby comes. Since I can no longer really touch my toes properly, let alone paint them, I went and got a mini pedicure and I got Reagan's nails painted as well. They only charged $6 for Reagan's which rocked, and she had fun. The best part? The giant massage chairs we sat in while our feet were being done. My nails look all pretty, shimmery and dusky purple. Reagan's are purple sparkles. I had to laugh when I was reading a blog and a midwife said "I can tell when my moms are going to go into labour, when they show up with their nails done". Oh, please let it be!

Now the fun is continuing with math sheets! Wee! Heh, she's actually not being resistant to her work sheets this summer, and she already wrote her journal entry. As soon as she's done, we'll head over to Amy's for a swim. It's stinkin' hot here again. Not sure if it's in the 100's like it was last week, but it's plenty hot.

Tim tried to help Amy with fixing their pool pump, but it wasn't something they could do. The service people think it's something in the lines and they probably need to be flushed out. Bummer.

I'm sore today, probably from a busy day yesterday. Last night I could not get into bed. I could not lift my leg enough to actually do it. I finally had to sit down on the bed, and I still couldn't lift my legs, so Tim had to lift them for me. It hurt too bad to do one at a time, so he lifted both at once. It feels weird to be that helpless. I'm better during the day, but by bedtime, I'm just so sore. It is so good to have him by my side.

I keep having these weird thoughts that there isn't really a baby in me, that it's just a tumour, or that I'm never actually going to give birth, that the contractions will never start. It's silly, but it's my brain on drugs baby.
