Tim let me sleep in till after 11 this morning, I can't believe I slept that late. Only reason I woke up is that he crawled back into bed with me. My ears/jaw/throat hurt, but the sinus pressure is not nearly as bad as it has been. After a week of this, I think the cold might be on its way out.

We hired someone for Tuesday, to help us move. I feel so relieved.

We will probably do a few more loads of boxes today, it's actually starting to look more empty in here. I couldn't believe how many boxes went over and it still looked like a full apartment! Over the next year we'll need to buy some good bookshelves and things for storage.

My wishlist for the new house:

soonish
- lawnmower (will probably buy today)
- IKEA pantry (a necessity, bigger house with way less cupboard space..)
- IKEA hutch for wall in living room (expensive b'day present, but I'd take it ;) )
- new dishes, probably fiestaware
- new gas grill for Tim
- medicine cabinets with mirrors for bathrooms, replace mirrors
- fitted blinds
- new glasses/mugs

future
- new doors for bedrooms
- new back door to laundry room (don't like the big window)
- change electric stove to gas stove (we think the fittings are there)
- new kitchen cabinets (kind of cheap boring ones in there now)
- paint (will need to putty and sand walls)
- vegetable garden
- fill for back yard, uneven
- big flower gardens in front of house
- big awesome bedroom furniture and new bedding
- baby bedroom (heh)
- new dark wood rectangle kitchen table
- leather couches for upstairs living room

I think that's enough for now ;)

silly me..

I had a really great time. The people I didn't think would show up didn't, but the people who were there I love. Lisa, Judy, Brandi, Kim, Trina, Jennye, Marina, Mackenzie and my brother.. the lone man. He actually stuck it out the whole time!! We had awesome food and drinks. Brandi surprised me with a birthday cake with sparklers and Lisa gave me a big bouquet of flowers. Brandi bought me awesome luggage tags! I was wondering how to mark my bags so I'd recognize them as mine!

I forgot to take any photos though. I was just too busy enjoying my time with my friends.

When Brandi and I hugged goodbye, we both started to cry. She wouldn't stop hugging me and I knew I was about to burst into tears, and then we both did. She's been my friend since grade 9. I'll miss her.

It's my last day of work!

Crazy.

For my sanity
New calendar: )

Today was a bit on the rough side. My lower back was in so much pain by the time I left work, I could barely walk. I have no idea why it's so bad. Hopefully massage tomorrow will help. I iced it tonight at my parent's house, but it made it feel worse.

People are grumpy. I had a few try to rip my head off about various things, but honestly, I'm leaving and I have no patience for that garbage. I am not taking people's shit. Client or not, there is no reason to be rude to me and I will make you feel like an ass, without me looking like an ass, if you treat me badly. I had a guy be a complete jerk to my trainee, and me, the other day and he walked away looking and hopefully feeling like the idiot in the situation. I can be the nicest person, but don't push me or I will push back. It's the red hair.. I can't help it.

My life is boxes boxes boxes right now.

I turned my heat on for the first time tonight.

I need to go to bed!

So, on top of the fact that I 1) have started my full time hours, 2) have to drive out to my parents house to feed their cats/water their gardens for the next week and a half, 3) have an appointment today for the clothes, 4) want to get to the gym every day, 5) have to alter my dress (make wider straps and possible cap sleeves), my landlord just called and wants to start showing my place this Friday. Hahahahah. Yes, I have to now make my house spotless on top of it all!

Should we start taking bets on what day my brain will snap? POLL TIME!

Have a great day everyone!!

I'm selling some things on ebay.. I haven't had much luck in the past, but maybe this time! I have a ton of stuff I could sell on there, but I hate selling bulky things.

I was invited to go boating today, but didn't take up the offer. I feel really motivated to keep dejunking here. I've put a bunch of clothes in a pile for the thrift store, and have a huge pile of too big clothes to go the the consignment store, unless I get brave and put it on ebay. Ebay is a lot of work!!

I have two full bins of stuff for a garage sale, so I think I'll do that the weekend after the wedding.

I was looking around on ebay and people actually sell their broken cameras. I see a canon elph going for 20 bucks so far, and it has a broken screen. I have two of those. Maybe I'll stick those on for 99 cents and see where they go.

I also listed one of my vintage dressers on Craigslist. I'm a selling machine!!
Now I'm off to have sushi with Ryan. Mm.. delicious sushi. (I am going to have to curb the eating out! Too much money!!)

notice

Well, giving my notice at my house was less work than I thought. My landlord just knocked on my door and told me she was increasing my rent, and I told her I was moving! Hahah.

I don't know why I feel a bit jittery now. Hopefully she won't fight me on my damage deposit. She has given every person who moved out a hard time.. but I've made improvements to this place. (Whereas she's done nothing she's supposed to)

Just one more thing to make this move a reality!
