Not much sleep last night. Tim put the crib beside the bed and it's awesome. He bought high density foam to go under the mattress to bring it up to the same level as our mattress, and more foam for the side of the mattress so we are pressed up tight. The crib is all bungeed under the bed.

The thing is, Paxon is used to sleeping in my arms, he's used to a softer mattress. His crib mattress is rock hard, and I was trying to lay him down without my arms being around him. He didn't fall into a proper sleep till 5:30 am, but surprisingly I stayed in good spirits all night and just tried to make it as stress free as possible. I want him to think of this as a positive thing, even though he's only 2 months old.

He laid there in the night, staring at the crib, talking to it. We had lots of 'just smiling at each other' times in the night. Lots of breastfeeding. He's back asleep now at 10:45. I'm skipping church and Tim is taking Reagan to Sunday school and then picking up groceries for Canadian thanksgiving.

I still feel like crap, so I'll try to nap while the tylenol is working.
