So Paxton hated the Christmas concert. Hated the lights, hated the darkness, hated the loud music. We went and sat in the nursery, which had a tv and the sound piped in. There were three glider rockers and a boppy pillow, and some exersaucers, but it was separate from the other nursery, so I sat alone while I nursed. Tim came out part way though the concert and held Paxton so I could go in and watch.

Last night I dreamed I sneaked into China without a passport, and wanted to head to Thailand to visit some friends (who actually do live there), but then realized it was really stupid to sneak in because I couldn't get out without my passport. After a big part of the dream that is too active and complicated to bother writing out, I watched a woman whose passport actually had been stolen have her child ripped away from her. He was dressed up like a doll for the Chinese children to play with (wtf?) and I realized that there was no way they were going to issue me a new passport. Next dream I was skinny dipping but suddenly realized we had left the baby in the car with the windows rolled up and I couldn't get out of the water cause I was naked, and Tim couldn't hear me calling him!

Last night I looked on craigslist for a bumbo chair, I don't want to pay $35 for one, and sure enough there was one in Manassas, brand new condition, blue, for $10 that had just been listed. I emailed him and Tim is out picking it up right now. My mom wanted me to buy him one for Christmas, but said she'd be fine if I bought one used (my idea), so I bought that and two sleepers for Pax from her. She just put money in my account and I bought the gifts, to save on shipping. My sister mailed her christmas presents, it was a small box and it still cost $23, and that was ground mail.

Made sugar cookies today, big Christmas trees that Reagan and I will decorate after she studies with her dad this afternoon. She's playing at Amelia's house right now. I'm tidying up around her a bit, not sure how a 4 month old's toys can get *that* spread around the living room, when he isn't even mobile.

He's fussing now, so that's my sign to hit post.

Is the shipping so nuts cause it's comes from Canada? Just curious, cause my husband abuses the hell outta those flat rate boxes we get here, where you can put anything in them and, so long as it fits, it ships. =X

Yes, sadly! No flat rate over the border!! It's way expensive.

Sometimes the holiday stuff can be overwhelming. haha he's probably fine in his house, with his family and the decorations you guys have but the rest was just a bit much.
I feel the same way sometimes. ha!

Those dreams are whacked, yo. I always have weird dreams when I use my asthma inhaler too close to bedtime.

I always have weird dreams, but I like that.

Yeah, I think it was overwhelming and a bit scary, cause it was even a bit loud for me!! I thought he'd be fine if I held him, but no.

The cost of shipping between Canada and U.S. (and vice versa) is ridiculous. I especially dislike when they charge an arm and a leg for shipping and then request one of my ovaries for the customs fees.

yes! Thankfully I've only been charged once for customs fees, I just say everything is a gift.

I do that when it's personal stuff, but sometimes things from companies still get dinged, although not as bad. The worst was the first time somebody sent me something: a $25 pendant from Italy. The customs fee was $24.
