So, they announced it was my last day at work in the morning meeting.. tons of hugs, congratulations, etc. My boss told them all to give me a kick in the butt for her, which just means she's sad I'm going.
The day was nutty, as usual for a Friday, but people were generally nice. I took an extended lunch and went out with my boss and a few others.
About 10 minutes before they closed, all my managers walked over with a huge bouquet of roses, a company duffel bag, and a dorky company hat, as well as speakers for my Ipod. My one boss (who I've loved) told me I was irreplaceable. She made me blush. They made me feel really loved and they all hugged me and told me how fun it had been and how sad they were to see me go. It was really nice. Tons of my co-workers hugged me goodbye and I'm really going to miss them! I'm definitely going to keep in touch with them.
Now I can focus on packing, and hopefully selling my car.
