I have Dr. Sears Baby Book and he suggests giving a chicken leg bone too, stripped of most everything and the thin bone on the side. Good for teething, too! I'm always curious about what others choose to do.
I chose to wait on giving Emilie meat until she's a year old, but obviously there's so many different ways to go about it and no one right way. I do make all of Emilie's food (I don't really get why you'd feed jarred, processed stuff when it's easy to do fresh fruits & veggies) and she is now feeding herself much of what we eat. I hope Paxton enjoys his first tastes of solids!
