Oh, Paxton has grown enough that he finally fits in all his medium fuzzibunz diapers. I am a fan of prefolds and covers, but now that he fits these, I'm kind of a fan of them.. It's just so easy, quick stuff of the liner, no adjusting or rolling of the prefold, nothing. Hmmm. Prefolds and covers are still the economical way of cloth diapering. Maybe once he fits all my larger covers, I'll be excited about prefolds again.

Next step? Cloth diapering for night time. Now that I'm working in a cloth diaper store, I'm feeling all inspired to try some hemp/fleece prefolds.

I wasn't a fan of pockets because I had an ongoing problem with the microfiber stinking. I have it in my mind to make some fitteds out of prefolds. The diaper service we used sells their retired prefolds for super cheap (retired for staining or light fraying). So with a little elastic and time with the sewing machine, I could have fitteds for something like $2/ea. The best part is that the prefold material can take pretty much anything. I'm pretty excited. I just need to learn how to sew! ha!
