I said goodbye to my little sister, brother-in-law, two year old niece and 7 month old nephew tonight. ahh.. not easy. They are only moving to the mainland, but that means an hour and a half ferry to go and visit.. no more just stopping in for an afternoon. It will be so good for them though.

Mattheus, the 7 month old giggled as I nibbled his arm, stomach. I would put him down and he'd raise his little arms to me and cry. I just love that child more than is right. Arika, 2, is talking so much and I love her more than is possible. Steven, almost 4, gave me the greatest hugs and kisses and I love him more than is imaginable.

My fingers feel tight from cleaners. Washed my sister's walls, counters, fridge & stove with her.

My mom made a comment at dinner about how we are all in transition in our lives. Shannon and Troy are buying a house at the moment. Amanda and Denis are moving out of town and have started a business. I'm in new jobs, trying to sell my place eventually, Tyler is going to be heading home from Australia soon. Mom and dad are (wonderfully) planning on selling one of our houses.. which means my dad can retire. Everyone is busy and tired and change is not simple, but we are all heading to better things. At least we can come together and love each other and understand what each of us is going through.
