This child is too smart. Tim ran to the store for me, and I was making Reagan a quick simple dinner (since she ate loads of candy and soda and other junk at the school dance), and Reagan turned to me and said "Did my mom get pregnant in January, since I was born in September, and that's about 9 months?" I counted and said that yes, she likely did get pregnant in early January, maybe even close to Christmas.

She says "That means you got pregnant around Hallowe'en".

omg, so do not want to talk about conception dates with an 8 year old! hahah!! I said yes, explained that that was about when I ovulated, and she was pleased that both her and the baby were conceived around holidays that include candy.




... it is sweet that she feels so comfortable asking me about these things. I'd rather she get her answers from me, than kids at school!
