One of my favourite books, when I was a kid, was The Borrowers by Mary Norton. I bought the entire series at a second hand store lately. This afternoon Reagan was looking a bit aimless, so I suggested some reading time. She read the first few chapters of book one, and it made me happy when she described some of the things that interested her, that were things I loved when I was a child. She even wrote about the book in her journal entry this evening.

I'm glad I have a kid who loves to read. Two kids actually, Paxton will sit and read 10 books with me if I read them. I'm sure he'd keep sitting there if I kept reading!

I ordered a book from Amazon on Tuesday, and I'm impressed, I went for the cheapest shipping and it wasn't supposed to arrive till Nov 12 or so, and it was on the doorstep this afternoon!

It's called Love As A Way Of Life, by the author of The Five Love Languages. My sister has been reading it and she says it has really helped her alter the way she is with her children and husband, and I already thought she was pretty amazing and loving.

I'm looking forward to reading it!
