I can tell I feel bad about not cooking delicious meals for Tim, like I used to. Last night I dreamed I was trying to make something for him, and there was this big bad of wild rice pasta. It was rotini shaped, and was black and red. I was kind of disappointed when I looked in the pantry today, thinking about dinner, and realized I had only dreamed it. I think he'd like something like that!

I'm 19 weeks today! So close to being half way through this pregnancy! Just think, only 21 more weeks of reading about me feeling sick. Heh

I am going to try to make him dinner tonight. He's been living on Amy's food the last week, or left overs here and there. He isn't suffering, but one of the things I love is cooking good food for him.

I wish I watched the Olympic closing ceremonies. I heard they were quite ridiculous and silly with giant blown up beavers and mounties. I'm afraid I turned it off when Nickelback was playing, I think I had purposely forgotten they were Canadian.

I'm getting up at the crack of dawn to make my man breakfast, packing his lunch, making our dinner, and trying to keep his old practice going as he winds it down. I am losing my mind! I think I am going to make him take me out on Wednesday night.

Give yourself a break, Betty Crocker! You are a wonderful wife and so what if you don't feel like cooking right now? I bet you'll get a wave of energy in your last trimester and cook up a storm!

I'm not counting on any waves in this pregnancy, not if I follow in my mom's footsteps, which I'm doing so far. Thankfully he is very loving and sweet and doesn't mind that I just cannot cook most days. Even when I do cook, I often sit there dry-heaving at the smells ;)

It just feels bad to not be able to do the things I normally do, like pack his lunch, make dinner, clean, etc. Thankfully sexually ability has not been affected. :P

and good for you! Even when I was Betty Crocker, I couldn't will myself to get up and make him breakfast.

I hope so!! In some ways it feels like forever to get here, and in some ways I can't believe it's almost done!

Having a trip to Vegas and a trip home to Canada will really help the time to fly!!

I just think it's crazy that I'm at 19 weeks and STILL down 10lbs!!

All the fun silly stuff in closing ceremonies like big beaver were before Nickelback. I deliberately shut off before they came on, they always sound like they are taking a poo when they sing. *L*

I am sure he is missing your yummy food...

Oh, then I really missed it, someone back home said it came at the end, but that might have had something to do with when they aired it, or I misread. They saw some things in a different order than I did, for the opening ceremonies!

Don't worry about dinner if you aren't feeling well, babe. I can make something when I get home this evening. Just rest and be well.

Love you.

It's hard enough being sick so much, but it makes it worse when you "lose" something you enjoy doing so much! :( Hopefully you can swing something. :) *hugs*

It is hard! That's part of what I like about my day, and the fact that it makes me feel so sick to cook makes me sad. I'm trying to ignore the smell of onions in the house right now, but am happy I managed to make him something (hopefully) good!

I don't know if you remember me lamenting the fact that Ben had his first ever frozen pizza while I was pregnant? ;) I was definitely not the best wife or mother during pregnancy, that's for sure! lol

I totally don't remember that, but I can understand it! I was staring at frozen pizzas last time I went shopping.. :P

I just could NOT work up the energy or desire to make a meal for him and he LOVED IT OMG. Now he has to eat mom-prepared meals and normal stuff. Poor kid.

We like that stuff too, I should check out the alternative foods section and see if what I dreamed really exists... if it doesn't, I could be a millionaire!

Actually, Tim and I figured out our fortune last night. He's going to patent a boob pillow that feels as good as me cuddled up behind him ;)

Will it be just boobs, or are the boobs part of a girl-shaped pillow?

just boobs on a pillow. You'll have to ask him, I think it was middle of the night ramblings. :P

If he really does create it, I will buy a few for my single guy friends. :D

Heh awesome. We were joking about how to heat them... and in a few months, we'll need a milk squirting model, for the fetish people ;)

I should make a Booj post about fetishes! One second... 'K. Done.

Perhaps the non-lactating version could have a compartment for a hot water bottle?
