I woke up with no voice this morning. I was so out of it, Tim brought me water and that helped. My voice is a bit better now, just sick sounding, throaty. My ears and throat really hurt.
Reagan's room is finished and it looks really nice. I even cut up pictures with her and friends and put them in her picture frames. I think she'll be happy. Hopefully she can keep it nice and organized. Also tidied up around the Christmas tree. Most the presents are still under the tree, Reagan hasn't seen hers since Christmas eve. Will be fun to see them all over again.
Tim is coming home with Reagan right now. He drove towards work, decided there was too much traffic and turned around and came home. Worked from home all week. It's going to be sad to see him back at the office next week, after two weeks of having him at home, on vacation or working.
Breakfast for dinner tonight. Apple and brown sugar breakfast sausages, pancakes, eggs and fruit smoothie.
My aunt mailed me a cheque for Christmas, but the bank here doesn't function well with Canadian cheques. We deposited one for $15 from my mom in August and they still haven't deposited the money, as far as we can see. I'll mail it to my mom and she can put it in my Canadian account.
Time for me to shower, almost 4 pm.

Date: 2011-01-08 03:47 am (UTC)It's the same with my sister's bank, which strikes me as odd. I can go into a Canadian bank with a U.S. check and they'll do the conversion and deposit on the spot. My sister had to way six weeks for her check to go through.
Are you with one of the bigger banks or a credit union?

How odd. I no longer have a U.S. bank account so I didn't try to convert cash the last time I was down there. I know that up here it's no problem at all (well, and you know, too, since you've worked in banks. I need more coffee...)
