Hmm, I almost wish I didn't get the internet figured out, it was nice to not be online for a couple days. Last night I got bored and ended up reading the anon communities, and even joining one because someone on my list was being trash talked there and she linked to it, but I couldn't see it. I'll probably delete it soon. It's too tempting to get sucked into it.
My sister's cat ignores her children, but has been really interested in Paxton. He doesn't care about him when he's up and crawling around, but I've caught him sleeping in the baby's spot on the bed a couple times (so now the door is closed). Two nights in a row, when the baby woke up fussing, the cat was actually scratching on the door trying to get in to see him. I think he's probably just confused, concerned and interested.
The baby is so sick, I feel bad for him. This morning I was worried, he was coughing so much, was so stuffed up and was pulling on his ear, but I think he was just tired and tugging at his ear because he stopped doing it. I'm not sure if it's worth it to buy one of those nose sucker things for his stuffy nose. Do they work? He's a bit red around his nose, probably raw from the runny nose and being wiped. He's napping now. Him being sick is going to put a damper on visiting people, but that's fine. I actually only have plans to visit Brandi tonight and nothing else set in stone. There's people I want to see, but last visit I was visiting 3 houses a day and I was exhausted. Can't do that to Paxton this time. Hope bubby feels better soon.

Date: 2011-03-05 07:13 pm (UTC)Oh read the bit about the snot sucker. It pissed off my goddaughter a great deal, but I think it helped. I have no idea how the thing works exactly, though. I always had visions of the babies' head half collapsing and popping back or something, but I'm one for hyperbole when it comes to new things. =P

I never saw it when my kids were younger, but friends now with young kiddos LOVE this thing.
Tylenol is less powerful than Advil, so my doc always suggested I start with that and only move on to the Advil if things got worse. Usually Tylenol does the trick for us, unless they get SUPER sick with super high fevers.
