Today I made chubby baby hand print turkeys. CUTEST THINGS EVER. You have not seen cuteness till you see a 10 month old giggling at a turkey made out of their handprint!

I love putting kids and paint together.

Especially that first time, when they've been so ingrained to NOT get their hands dirty - and they go all "EEEWWWW" and look at you in horror...
then they realise its OKAY and just go wild with it. hehehe

I did a handprint plate for my cousin with my goddaughter's hand and after doing the hand on paper a few times, finally got it on the plate...and she kept wanting to slap the plate, she was having so much fun!

I loved their reactions as I painted the brown paint on with a big thick brush. It must have been cool and tickled a little, and they would usually tighten their little chubby fingers up, then as I squealed and talked about what I was doing (yes I'm adorkable) they would spread the little fat fingers and watch as I kept painting. I liked to prolong it so that they could really enjoy that feeling.

They were all so great when I did the print as well. Only one smeared and the second one I did with her was perfect. *smile*

I still have the handprint that I did in kindergarten.

I love turkey hand prints too! I also do ghost feet. I paint their feet white and we make a print on black, purple or blue paper. Then after they dry I turn it so the toes are down and draw in eyes. They are so cute and the parents love them. (The older kids can draw a background for thiers!)
