Just remembered that tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and Reagan's mom is away for the weekend at a funeral, so she probably didn't buy Valentines, so Reagan and I sat down and made 25 of them. Made one for her teacher, and she wrote out a list of all the kids in her class, but we made 3 extra just in case she forgot anyone.

They turned out super cute. Red, purple and pink construction hearts (that open), I wrote "Happy Valentine's Day" and she wrote "From Reagan" and who it was to. On the front I drew designs of hearts and things with white glue and Reagan sprinkled all kinds of sparkles on them. They look awesome. I'm all proud of them.

Good thing I used to be a preschool teacher.

Bad news: Paxton bit me today and twice last night

Good news: He doesn't have teeth yet

Bad news: He laughed at my reaction

Good news: I didn't freak him out with my reaction, a friend's baby went on a nursing strike when she scared him by her reaction to biting. Mine likes the boob too much.

Good news: Went for a walk around the neighbourhood with Reagan, Paxton and Tim

Bad news: Freezing cold wind, so we only went for a short one

Good news: Snowed today

Bad news: It's almost all melted already

Reagan's teacher sent home tons of her work, some of it she did okay on, some she did really well, quite a bit she failed, but for silly things like forgetting to use a capital letter, or not following the instructions (circling the word and not writing it, when the instructions said to do both), or spelling words, that she knows how to spell, wrong. I wrote out every single word she spelled wrong, or ones where all her letters are the same size, but the k or l should be taller. She'll practice writing those out and then I'll test her on them. Tim is reading over the sheets so he has a good idea of where she's making errors and he can help her study.

ETA: GOOD GOOD NEWS: Paxton has been asleep in his stroller for about an hour, hoping for another hour ;)

We celebrated here tonight. I made her cake this morning and I think it turned out awesome.

The upset penguin (supposed to be Pingu)

Because the thieving seal stole his bait and tricked him into thinking he had more than one fish!

The fishing hook I'm all proud of:

Tim, after work, making an igloo

The finished product (that look a bit more like boobs than I'd like, in the photos)

A very excited Reagan!

I'm glad she loved it! She liked the little bits of green bait on the seal's nose.. she liked all of it. I'm happy with how well the blue jello water turned out!
