Monday/Tuesday
Apr. 5th, 2011 11:04 amYesterday was pretty low key. Paxton cut a tooth and Tim thought he cut another one, but it's just right there under his gum. I think he might have cut it last night, I could feel a little ridge, but I'm not positive. I think he'll have all four top teeth by tonight. I was a bit shocked to see he cut his lateral incisor first. Looks funny, all off kilter.
He took 3 daytime naps, and then fell asleep on me just after 8 till close till midnight. Slept midnight till 5 am and then nursed and snuggled and slept till 8:45 or so. Not bad.
Paxton has been standing, holding onto things, a lot. It's pretty cute to watch. He's also clapping his hands and saying "AY" as he does it, copying me. He's also having fun making mommy react to things. He banged on his high chair and I pretended to jump, so then I had to pretend to jump 30 more times. This morning he was giggling as I was pretending to nom up his cheerios. He likes peekaboo behind hands now. He's saying "hi hi hi" a lot. When I say "Where's daddy" he looks at Tim and when I say "Where's Reagan" he looks at Reagan. Pretty cool.
He's a crazy daddy's boy since Tim came home from Scotland. He cries when Tim walks away from him, he crawls over to Tim, he wants to snuggle him. If he's with me, he wants to stand and look at Tim working at his desk.
We sat outside for quite a while yesterday, on the lawn. It was so windy, he kept burying his head in me when the wind blew. He didn't like sitting on the grass, he wanted to stand and then he stood on my leg instead of the grass. He wasn't sure about that grass!
Today is kind of a dreary day. I need to figure out what's for dinner and do some laundry.
